Ruan graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and is proud to be part of the Berwick and Pakenham Lakeside Physiotherapy teams. He has a strong interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and enjoys helping people improve mobility and performance, and live pain-free.
Ruan takes a patient-centred, evidence-based approach, combining hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation, education, and accurate diagnosis to achieve lasting results. Whether recovering from injury, managing pain, or returning to work or sport, he provides treatment tailored to each patient. As a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, he is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure his clients receive the most up-to-date and effective care.
Outside the clinic, Ruan enjoys training in the gym, competing in hammer throw at a national level and camping and fishing. He has also played sports including footy, rugby, and soccer.
Ruan is fluent in English and Afrikaans and is available for consultation at our Berwick and Pakenham Lakeside clinics.
