Imashi Thotawatta

D.Physio, B.Sport.Ex.Sci (Hons), APAM

Imashi holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne and a First-Class Honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science from La Trobe University. With a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, Imashi takes a holistic, client-centred approach to care. By combining hands-on manual therapy with strength training, she focuses on delivering long-term, sustainable outcomes that aim to improve overall health and well-being.

Imashi conducted her Honours research study at the Australian Ballet, focusing on developing innovative and reliable methods of testing foot and ankle strength. She is also involved with the De La Salle Football club, where she assesses, manages and rehabs sports injuries while collaborating with other professionals to ensure athletes return to sport safely and confidently. Imashi is a big believer in educating and empowering clients, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and confident in their recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Imashi enjoys running, hitting the gym and going on long beach walks. She loves travelling and is always up for a good adventure!
