Katrina graduated at the top of her class (dux) from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2015. Prior to this, Katrina has also completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2012 and again graduated at the top of her class (dux) from Monash University.
Katrina utilises a holistic approach to helping patients overcome their pain. She employs a scientific approach and also listens to all patient concerns to provide her patients the best care. She is able to treat a multitude of commonly presenting and more complex musculoskeletal conditions involving spinal and peripheral regions. She employs a ‘hands on’ approach involving manual therapy (massage, mobilisation, manipulation, trigger point therapy) and dry needling as well as education, exercise prescription and clinical Pilates to achieve positive long term outcomes.
Outside of work, Katrina enjoys going for regular runs and completing the 1000 steps Kokoda walk at the Dandenong Ranges. She also loves doing Pilates and going to the gym to keep fit. She also loves travelling the world and has been to many countries such as the United States, South America and Asia.
Katrina is multilingual and is able to speak fluent Cantonese and Vietnamese.
