Matthew joined the team at Berwick and Pakenham Lakeside Physiotherapy in 2020 after graduating from La Trobe University with a Masters of Physiotherapy practice in 2019. Prior to this, he graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science, which was also completed at La Trobe University.
Matthew is very interested in the diagnosis and management of acute musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. He also has a keen interest in the management of hand and wrist injuries, and has the training to make custom splints for common hand/wrist fractures and conditions. He strives to utilise his strengths in exercise prescription combined with manual therapy techniques to provide the best care he can and empower his patients to take charge of their recovery.
Outside work, Matthew loves going on adventures on weekends with his wife and son. He has a big passion for sport and exercise and you will often find him out on the golf course working on his handicap or going for a run.
