Adam Joyce

Adam has been at Berwick Physiotherapy since 2007, and now works between the Berwick and Lakeside practices. Adam became a Partner in the clinics in 2011.  Having graduated 10 years ago, Adam brings a broad range of diagnostic and clinical experience to the practice. Adam has worked in numerous settings in addition to Private Practice, including Public Hospitals and the Australian Defence Force.

Holding a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Adam is able to provide you with an accurate diagnosis and some caring guidance on how to go about managing your aches and pains. Adam has a strong bias towards manual therapy, including mobilisation and manipulative techniques, which is complemented by his tailored exercise programs.

Adam has a particular interest in treatment of the wrist and hand. He has worked closely with a number of hand surgeons and continues to provide specialised care for a number of arthritic, traumatic and post-operative conditions.

In addition to his Masters degree, Adam has also done further study in the areas of dry needling, manipulation of the spine, shoulder injuries and complex spinal pain. He is also experienced in teaching graduate physiotherapists through the APA Spinal courses. His interest in strength training is reflected in his exercise prescription and approach to rehabilitation.
