Ben is a physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, along with degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Commerce (Economics). His areas of interest include managing osteoarthritis, assisting with post-surgical recovery, treating neck and back pain, sporting injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Ben contributes to research on osteoarthritis at the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Health, Exercise, and Sports Medicine. He has also worked on research focused on prehabilitation for cancer and complex surgery patients. Certified by the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association, Ben combines strength training with hands-on manual therapy, delivering a well-rounded approach to treatment. His care plan integrates tailored exercises and manual therapy to reduce pain, enhance mobility, and support recovery. Ben also collaborates with football teams and running clubs, with an emphasis on injury prevention and boosting athletic performance.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys strength training, running, playing violin in orchestras, volunteering with the State Emergency Service, and indulging in classical music and opera. As a devoted sports fan, he follows all sports and loves discussing the latest games. Ben is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
