B.Health Sciences, D.Physio, APAM |
Laura completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2008, majoring in Exercise Science and Nutrition, before going on to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2013. Her academic foundation supports a strong, evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment, while her years of clinical experience have shaped a well-rounded, holistic style of care.
Laura believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. She takes the time to understand each individual’s lifestyle, movement patterns, and underlying contributing factors. Her treatment sessions often incorporate hands-on manual therapy techniques to restore mobility and reduce pain, combined with thorough biomechanical assessments to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Laura has completed additional studies in spinal conditions, joint and soft tissue injury management, mat and reformer Pilates and dry needling. She has a special interest in the treatment and management of migraines and cervicogenic headaches, women’s health conditions, sporting injuries across all ages and post-surgical rehabilitation.
With a background as a gym instructor and a passion for Pilates, Laura integrates tailored exercise prescription into every treatment plan. She is committed to helping her patients achieve their goals and return to their daily activities stronger, more confident, and with a deeper understanding of their body.
Outside of physiotherapy, Laura is always on the go as a mum of two busy young boys. She enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, exploring the world and perfecting her sourdough baking skills.
