Carter Bilbrough

BENS, BPhysio (IIa Hons), APAM |

After growing up in rural QLD, Carter moved to Brisbane for university where he graduated with a BPhys (Class IIa Hons) from UQ in Brisbane at the end of 2022, having completed a BENS degree in 2018.  This gave Carter a great insight into other health fields and developed his skills to be able to deliver a holistic care combining ‘hands on’ techniques, self-management and exercise strategies as well as broader lifestyle changes and habits where necessary.

Carter enjoys working with patients in all aspects of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with an interest in low-back pain and neck pain patients, to be a part of their rehab journey but also to observe how their pain improvements have carried over into their everyday life from a first-hand perspective. Carter works with all age groups but has a keen interest in working with the teen-young adult age group. Carter employs the most recent evidence-based approaches to ensure each patient gets a uniquely tailored treatment approach that best suits their individual needs.

Outside of his physiotherapy career, Carter loves most sports, having played cricket all his life, and dabbled on the AFL field from time to time. Growing up in a rural community in QLD, he is definitely a country boy at heart who loves the outdoor lifestyle.  He enjoys the simple things in life – good food, good wine and good company – and is an avid amateur whisky enthusiast who is always open to recommendations. He’ll happily chat to anyone about anything sport related, especially if it involves the dominance of his mighty Brisbane Lions.

Carter is available for consultation at both Berwick and Pakenham Lakeside clinics.
