Adele joined Berwick & Pakenham Lakeside Physiotherapy in January 2020 after completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy with distinction at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, she graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, majoring in Exercise Physiology.
Adele has a special interest in sporting injuries which stems from her background playing competitive netball from a young age and working with amateur football and netball clubs as a trainer. she enjoys the challenge of creating individualised rehabilitation programs for players of all sporting levels with the aim of getting them back to their highest level of function. Throughout her studies, Adele developed a passion for exercise rehabilitation to manage various conditions, as she believes it can help to empower patients to self-manage their condition in the long-term and prevent subsequent injuries. In addition, Adele enjoys treating both spinal dysfunction and post-operative patients. She uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription to assist her patients to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Adele enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing netball, following sports such as AFL, netball and tennis, trying new cuisines and travelling the world.
