Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Most of the Physiotherapists at Berwick Physiotherapy have undergone specialised post graduate training in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

This additional training is focused on assessment and treatment of joint and soft tissue injuries.

These practitioners excel in the management of neck and back injuries.

Pilates

Pilates is an exercise regime developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900’s.

Initially the technique was used by dancers, but we now know that when techniques are guided by a physiotherapist, using a programme specifically tailored to your needs, great benefit can be achieved.

The basis of these techniques focus on core strength and stability.  It is particularly good in the management of back pain and a terrific adjunct to your fitness regime.

In early 2010 Berwick Physio renovated and extended our gym area to incorporate a new Pilates studio with state of the art clinical pilates equipment.   Clients have the option of one on one sessions, or small group classes with a physiotherapist.  Why not ontact us to book into a class?
